Founder of the aroi Mortgage Investment Corporation Inc., Mr. Busch holds the position of Managing General Agent for Industrial Alliance and has been a top performer in the financial industry for the past 20 years. Mr. Busch successfully funded mortgages for his own account for many years, prior to the establishment of aroi, demonstrating successful investments and high rates of return. He has also operated a successful mortgage brokerage since 2004. With the inception of aroi Mortgage Investment Corporation, Mr. Busch became a pioneer in the Province of Nova Scotia, spearheading changes to the local criteria regarding the Mortgage Investment Corporation as an investment vehicle. Mr. Busch has supervisory responsibility with respect to mortgage lending decisions, as well as overseeing all facets of the Companies’ operations.

Matthew employs a solid understanding of Real Estate development to co-adjudicate aroi’s Mortgage lending opportunities, in addition to lead responsibility for accounting, treasury and business process.

Through Directorships with High Liner Foods (past) and Thornridge Holdings he continues to expand on considerable Boardroom experience (including Audit and Compensation committees), with emphasis on strategic direction.

In addition to activities with family and friends, passions include Alpine sports and hiking challenging terrain.

Catherine has been working in the Administration field for the past 16 years. She started working with aroi in 2010 as an Insurance Administrator and over the past two years has transitioned into Mortgage Financing and Credit Reconstruction. Catherine enjoys working with clients. Her commitment to helping others, combined with her knowledge and experience, offers exceptional customer service to all she meets.

Kate was introduced to Aroi through an internship while completing a diploma in Office Administration – Software & Information Management. After working with her we simply couldn’t let her leave and she has been a valued part of the team since 2015. Her areas of specialization include analyzing spending and credit usage behavior of our valued clients as well as negotiating settlements with creditors on their behalf. She is a lifetime resident of the Annapolis Valley and an avid country music fan.

Kim regularly leverages Real Estate industry knowledge gained through co-ownership of Exit Realty Town & Country in addition to construction and management of commercial property investments throughout the Annapolis Valley. Aroi benefits from his extensive operations oversight experience earned while serving as President of Connell Chrysler Dodge until 2010. Mr. Connell is president of Brooklyn Street Developments Ltd. Operating two independent Petro Canada retail sites.
